FAQ

Production

Fellmorn Relics is a one man operation.

Jewellery is both designed and finished by Count Leigh.

Every design starts with an idea, which is then brought to life by carving it into wax. A mould is create from the wax carving and it is cast in London using the ancient process of lost wax.

Only the finest, recycled 925 Sterling Silver is used in all of our products.

Why does production take up to 4 weeks?

Our jewellery is not mass-produced and we don't keep finished pieces sitting in stock.

After you place an order, we arrange for your chosen piece to be cast before carrying out the finishing work ourselves, including sanding, oxidation and polishing. Once the piece has passed our final checks, it is packaged and dispatched to you.

We'll let you know if there is an unexpected delay affecting your order.

Sizing guide

If you are unsure of your size, visiting a local jeweller is a great way to have your finger measured professionally, alternatively you can buy a ring sizer and measure from home.

Finger sizes can naturally vary and tend to swell in warmer weather so your ring may feel a little tighter or looser depending on the season.

Rings with a thicker band can also feel tighter than thin bands.

If you would like to buy a ring sizer or have any questions feel free to contact us at info@fellmornrelics.com

Jewellery Care

Silver naturally develops scratches and can dull over time. To restore its finish gently polish your jewellery with a soft polishing cloth.

Do not use liquid silver cleaners as they will remove the oxidation (The darkened recesses). If your jewellery has become dirty you can use boiling water and washing up liquid to gently clean it with an old toothbrush.

Silver can react with chemicals found in sweat, soaps, perfumes and chlorine, which may cause it to tarnish and change in it's appearance over time.

To help keep your jewellery looking its best we recommend removing it before showering, exercising or swimming. Highly chlorinated pools will instantly change the silver to black.

Cancellations, Returns & Resizing

Because every piece of jewellery is produced to order, we put a lot of care into making each piece specifically for your purchase. Please take a moment to check your ring size and order details carefully before placing your order.

Our current production time is up to 4 weeks before dispatch.

Production begins immediately upon receipt of your order. If you wish to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations requested after production has commenced are subject to a £30 cancellation fee to cover labour costs incurred with our casting house.

I ordered the wrong ring size. What can I do?

Don't worry, this happens!

If your ring is the wrong size because the incorrect size was selected when ordering, we can usually resize the ring for you for a fee.

Please contact us before sending your ring back. We'll confirm whether the ring can be resized and let you know the applicable resizing cost before any work is carried out.

What if you made my ring in the wrong size?

If we make your ring in a different size from the size stated on your order, that's our mistake — and we'll put it right free of charge.

Can I cancel or return my order?

If you change your mind about an online purchase, you may return your item within 28 days of receiving it, providing it is unworn and in its original condition. Customers are responsible or the cost of returning the item.
